Large blue Chyron board, MX Clears, doesn't seem like a deal but it is nice looking https://www.ebay.ca/itm/CHYRON-DUET-KYB ... 2596285837
THE DESCRIPTION OF THE KEYBOARD IS A WALL OF TEXT WRITTEN IN CAPITAL LETTERS WITHOUT PUNCTUATION BECAUSE THIS KEYBOARD IS BEYOND RARE AND IT THEREFOR NEEDS A SERIOUS AND VERY THOROUGH DESCRIPTIONZedTheMan wrote: ↑04 Apr 2019, 18:32Looks like things aren't rare anymore, but beyond rare.

I felt a little "attacked" when I read that description. It feels like someone is standing right in front of me and screaming all this info straight in my face

Nothing better than scrolling thru a couple hundreds of "check out the keyswitch" keyboards But hey, atleast he has pictures of the actual "keyswitches" so you don't have to look up which "keyswitch" the boards have yourself... X)
okay I have to ask, where is that keyboard from? It looks like the IIc+ keyboard assembly but with a regular sized enter key instead of the weird L shaped one. thats definitely up there with M0118 layout tied for my ideal layout. arrow keys and everything. I MUST KNOW!!snacksthecat wrote: ↑28 Mar 2019, 15:50depletedvespene wrote: ↑27 Mar 2019, 19:12That, kids, is why good keyboard design does NOT reduce a keyboard's width from 15U to 14.5U by shaving 0.5U from the right side — while 1.5U Backspace keys are bearable and 1.75U "thin ANSI" keys are not bad, the ISO Enter key becomes an "anorexic ISO" key that is inexcusably uncomfortable.

the keycaps are probably the best aspect of it, I don't recall which exactly, but I've seen this lock light sticker on some other cheap rubber dome/mechanical keyboards, it's a nice piece of collection and I'd be glad to be able to read more about it, so it would be cool to be documented.

And now vintage-computer-store has one for a starting bid of $9.99Gamuholic wrote: ↑09 Apr 2019, 05:08https://www.ebay.com/itm/153397471553 ($79.99 + shipping, $19.95 for me)
Interesting Fujitsu Leaf Spring board in OK condition. Numbers from the sticker on the back:

Even if they're not vintage blacks 40 euros is a steal for the pair.
If you could get that image in larger resolution you could perhaps see if those switches with missing keys are Cherry MX switches.
Closest I could find from top keyboard:Findecanor wrote: ↑21 Apr 2019, 15:20If you could get that image in larger resolution you could perhaps see if those switches with missing keys are Cherry MX switches.
To see whether they are vintage or not, you would have to get a lot closer: to determine if the Cherry logo is in an older or newer style can be difficult even with a naked eye.
There's ones with pad-printed caps, and others with dye-sublimated legends.Hak Foo wrote: ↑21 Apr 2019, 21:53A vanilla AT101 at a relatively modest price:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Dell-Mecha ... 0005.m1851. For a while I was seeing these at well over USD200.
Did they do pad-printed caps on these boards? Several keys lost their legends.
I'd love to get a scan of this as a desktop wallpaper.Excelso wrote: ↑21 Apr 2019, 22:22Not the usual "interesting" find but... quite interesting to me... and quite a nice banner if I were able to put my hands in it

I've asked the seller to see if a digital option is available so we can have a better quality version. Given the big size just a little retouch for the damages or "photoshop" in another selectric are pretty easy to do. I'm on the same boat.xxhellfirexx wrote: ↑22 Apr 2019, 01:05I'd love to get a scan of this as a desktop wallpaper.Excelso wrote: ↑21 Apr 2019, 22:22Not the usual "interesting" find but... quite interesting to me... and quite a nice banner if I were able to put my hands in it
