Re: Great/Interesting Finds

I didn't buy anything last night but lot's of stuff is gone now. There were 19 of the 3270 APL keyboards and now there are 7!
I paid $70 for a NIB set once so $90 for a converted Model M with APL keys seems like a great deal. Uncommon, but not super rare they don't seem to come up for sale too often.

I don't remember ever seeing beam spring switches like those.
Condition is less than ideal though.
Whatever it is I can say it's not IBM or a beamspring.John Doe wrote: ↑04 Dec 2019, 05:53https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Keybor ... Sw7EJdy8AF
Anybody know something about the board? Seller used "beamspring" description but couldn't see any switch info.

It is most likely keytronic, have their signature keycaps. This seller list all his keyboards as beamspring so don’t even look at that.John Doe wrote: ↑04 Dec 2019, 05:53https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Keybor ... Sw7EJdy8AF

Yeah, thats quite right. Doubt he doesn't realise that words mean some kinda specific mechanical boards.User101 wrote: ↑04 Dec 2019, 07:15It is most likely keytronic, have their signature keycaps. Lol he lists all his hard drives and stuffs as floppy drives, I guess he’s just too lazy to check.(or he might be a moron)John Doe wrote: ↑04 Dec 2019, 08:07Yeah, thats quite right.
