Yeah, this is a truly fascinating build. I cannot believe the effort that went into making a custom board with notoriously unreliable, yet rare switches. I've never tried Omrons, but they must be nice.

Long time no talk. I had a long 3 months of hiatus due to some unfortunate procrastination. Thankfully the project is still alive. I have both the prototypes, finally, and also motivated enough to do some comparisons.
First prototype: Tactile whites w/ Cerakote Tungsten grey
Second prototype: Linear whites w/ Cerakote Mill Spec Greens.
The second prototype is superior in all sense, good balance between Round Corners vs. Sharp Chamfers. One thing to point out is that the second prototype is unusable at the moment, the spherical caps are too thick and interfere with the switches on the downstrokes. I am not 100% committed to keyboards yet right now, so I have not changed out the capset. Here are some comparisons.
