Does anybody know what the cause of keys registering twice from time to time is?

Thanks!

I tried hand-held.

So maybe it is because I had forgotten to drink my usual piccolo of Champagne this morning?

Do always the same keys occasionally register twice, or does it happen on random keys?

Always the same.

Also, I feel less shaky, now I have the Vodka bottle half-empty....

Then it would seem logical to think there is something wrong with the switch.

Could be dirt in the switch.... Remove the cap (and surrounding caps), press the stem down with a toothpick or something like that and while doing that put the vacuum cleaner on there for a couple seconds. If the switches are pcb mounted be careful that you dont suck the top of the switch straight off :D

Np, but really keep an eye out for the vacuum cleaner not sucking up any parts or caps.... having to dig that kind of stuff out of a bag full of dust n crap really sucks cuz for some reason itll always fly straight to the bottom (trust me on that, i do this kind of thing on quite a regular basis)

A G80-1800 I own had this problem. I just replaced the faulty switch, tried cleaning it first but no go.

Also, vodka does sound awfully tempting.

I'd give you a wiki link but the server is about to crash.

My vote is for a tweaked leaf.
