New member here. I recently tried my hand at DIY cable coiling and had some trouble.

The cables are two lightening cables. One has nylon sheathing and the other did not. The coils retain their shape very well but are loose and wont stay together after being taken off the rod.
Have any of y'all tried this? Thanks:)
