Operation typewriter to keyboard (alps skff)

greetings!

you stumble across to my projekt code name alps Sick Kung Feeling Fu !
its my first operation and iam not sure what iam doing ... so i need for sure your help :)
but step by step
first thing would be how i place the arrow key couse there a none ...iam not sure if i need them but have some keycaps they are vaguely represent arrows
step 2 alt and ctrl
code can be alt or ctrl but where is than the other one :S

If the PCB is desoldered already why not go the extra step and create a custom layout with the keys you have and get a plate laser cut for that?
As it looks you could get pretty close to a somewhat standard 60% layout.

Nice board, btw! I've been on the hunt for one of these for a while now.

after a break iam finaly back here my progress folks :)

the lasercut was a good tip but to be honest i was to lazy for that ...so i just cut the left side off and welded it on the right side xD

than it was time to figure out the layout ....its not that bad i guess (i know the soldering is allrdy done but i lost the foto,and yes the numpad is wrong i fixd it no worries)

sadly iam 3-4 switches short to make it like this (if someone have spare switches i would love to buy them )

Nice solution, how did it turn out (hard to judge from the pictures alone), as in are the keys still aligned with the rest and so on. Those red keycaps look amazing!

programming the thing was hell but i got it just the led lights i have no clue how i can bind them in if someone knows how
plz hit me up ! :)

Such an awesome project. That case is really amazing, glad that board got what it deserved!

(And that red arrow cluster is just beyond sexy :D)

tyvm again dude for that awesome gift and the faith you had in me :shock: .... i rly tryd it hard ...so iam rly rly glad you liked it

The welding and wood working looks top notch. How did you go about carving the case?

tyvm that was not simple .... a carving master owes me a favor ...iam electrician i did the outside light and some worke in the house
at first he didnt want to do it but i was crying a lot and finaly he did it ...but as i saw the bill for it.. i was crying again it was not cheap ;D
