Use this topic to suggest nominees for the Deskthority Award 2013.

This is the main award and the "super category", anything goes. You can suggest a keyboard, company, keycap set, person, etc. It can be something or someone already nominated in another category as well. What was extra special in 2013? You have to give a short motivation for each suggestion. You cannot nominate yourself.

Not sure if a person can be nominated.

My choice is dirge for proxying for me (UK->Germany) more than once,
working his butt off to get the stuff first, then forward it to me,
and then forgetting he had paid for it

I also enjoyed his performance art. Pining after the impossible f-row.

I'd nominate Komar, for making his 60% keyboard as open-hardware. Even the Koreans and Chinese know it as they started building their own.

I'm surprised matt3o isn't up there yet. He has organised multiple group buys from scratch, and has made some great contributions to building custom keyboards.

Yes that's true! The DSA Retro Groupbuy was one of a kind in terms of speed and organisation! He should be included!
