linking a paypal account to a credit card should work automatically when you pay using paypal. No need to transfert money. I don't understand the issues from here and there.

The only thing to be aware of using a card through PayPal is the fees. I couldn't link my bank account for various (three time limit) reasons, but could add my new card. So paid that way. I think PayPal charges 3.5% or thereabouts for card transactions. I ended up paying €3.39 in fees. Which personally wasn't a problem and was less hassle doing it that way and paying the fees than having to go through all the hassle of organising an international money transfer straight from my bank.

What is this hassle? I log in my bank account, enter IBAN/BIC and amount, and click send. Easier than paypal, and free. Also my bank aren't freedom hating fascists like paypal/ebay.

My internet banking doesn't provide transfers outside the UK. Inside the UK no problem, but if I want to transfer internationally I have to get on the phone and organise an IBAN and all that. And my banks phone support is absolute crap.

Well, maybe Sixty doesn't like to hand out his bank account nummer. I can't see why that would be an issue though, as long as you're using PM's...

Either way, the money came through after all and I paid my order.
