Thanks Justin. Good to see the international price is the same as the US price. Too high for me, but I appreciate what you guys are doing with this first run.

I dunno. It's a great boutique product. But... ideas are taken from keyboard community projects, then sold expensively for profit, while never mentioning where the ideas were taken from (hi lowpoly!). Order pages talk about some geekhack. Paypal only, blech. Commercial sales topic was posted in product news instead of marketplace. I might have bought if lowpoly was credited, if the order page doesn't talk about other sites, if I could have paid with a respectable method and if the sale didn't disguise itself as product news.

Any pictures of the keyboard with the white/green double shot keys mounted on it?

Also, is it possible to get different types of switch for the mouse buttons (for example, blacks for the trackpoint buttons, but greens/blues for the keyboard keys)

This looks awesome! I don't care how good they make track pads. I still prefer trackpoint on laptops.

Justin, Thanks for sharing news about your new product. Looks like another high-quality and imaginative keyboard from your shop; a worthy follow-up to the Beetle.

As for me, I would probably not use the track point, but I am glad to see this option appear in a 60% mechanical keyboard. Probably wouldn't use the mouse keys, either. I would rather have the extra space.

I like the IJKL placement of the arrow keys, and this might work for me with the option to have the Fn key on the left. However, I have been using the HHKB Pro 2 for several months, and I find the layout perfect for me. In particular, I like the Fn key on the right and the arrow diamond on [;'/.

Still waiting for someone to produce a 60% with the HHKB Pro 2 layout, a metal plate, and uniform 50 to 55-gram Topres with silencing.

Time too awaken from my slumber for this keyboard. Few questions

Are there arrow keys via fn layer?
Is there any way too put custom keycaps on?
when is the final ordering date for ANSI, will there be a round 2, as im very short on cash untill april 18th (new bike)

Check the layout and DIP switch settings, from Justin's post: http://deskthority.net/post144324.html#p144324

Thanks! Well the final design looks the same as it was in the pics posted here. There's a ISO version, which is nice, but the keyboard doesn't come cheap ath 259$.

Anyone know where he got the track point parts? Are they directly sourceable or did he cannibalize some lenovo keyboards?

mr_peck

I have received my Yoda monday. It's a brown MX version. The trackpoint is good but very sensitive. I've reduced sensitivity in the system parameters and now it's almost perfect ! The travel of the 3 trackpoint switch is a little to long, so i will mount oring to reduce the travel on these 3 switch. The keyboard itself is really excellent : very good case and form factor.
