Seems my boss got a new Lenovo gaming laptop. I got curious and visited Lenovo's website, after which I noticed that they also make gaming peripherals now:

A closer look at these ugly ducklings can be found over at Tom's Hardware:

I don't see why. They've got nothing to do with IBM except the ThinkPad line of laptops, and those have always had scissor switches.

"Lenovo put together a great keyboard. I was a little unsure since it didn't have Cherry MX, but the Mechanical Kailh Red key switches rock."

Cringe...

That design is horrible. USB and headphones get in the way of the mouse. The borders get in the way of the mouse. Gaming/macro keys are far far away from anything.

It's worth noting that Lenovo and Razer are in bed together: http://www.theverge.com/2015/11/27/9806 ... -dreamhack

It's hideous in both functionality and aesthetics. I'm impressed (not in a good way).

This is 2015, the only thing you're getting is a root certificate with adware. And with razer joining in it's gonna be even worse.

And here's what I think about the keyboard
