I ordered a keyboard from PCHome. Total came to around £70 including shipping. Would I be charged anything extra once it arrives in the UK?

Yes if it is stopped by customs, an extra £8+ plus about £14 of VAT.

Is it likely to be stopped by customs?

Depends on how the seller labelled it. Other than than it just seems to be down to luck.

From my own experience it depends of the Delivery Company too. [i've shipped more than 100 packages in the last 6 months]

In the past year I probably received well over 100 parcels from Asia. When using DHL Express, I almost never had to pay any import taxes, unless the parcels where HUGE (in physical size) or properly marked in value. The opposite is the case for EMS, even the smallest $12 parcels with keycaps end up at the German customs.
