Actually surprised at the price, I haven't kept track of F122 prices over time but I was originally under the impression that they were more common that the AT, but this is already going for a lot more than what I paid for mine (which was already converted). Has supply dried up?

It's not easy for everyone to do and it's rarely "half that price". Of course you always seem to know everything so whatever.

Here are a couple in the past 2-3 weeks that went for about $63, after domestic + international shipping + fees you're looking at the same again max on top of that. That is something I do know because I have done this many times, just like you.
Anyone who is technologically apt enough to buy a niche keyboard within minutes of it going up is able to use buyee or some other proxy, my 12 year old cousin could do it.
I also didn't mention that I had anything against you, but it's clear that you don't like being corrected when you're wrong.

yes that's what i said, the same again maximum on top of that. that would make $130 or so, less than half of 300. is that clear enough? of course those listings exist too, but one of them is for a completely different keyboard with a different switch type. there will always be outliers, the point is it's easy to get them for less than half what you sold yours for. nothing against you, i'm just surprised someone bought it. stop being so defensive.

I'll be posting some of these in Marketplace that are more fixer-uppers in terms of how dirty they are, but they will clean up nicely and most of mine have the ever-elusive non-degrading foam which can and should be reused. Mine will be priced at $150 each, but are missing the solenoid. I can install the Xwhatsit and the pin adapter for another $50. I have a couple that I fully refurbished with Xwhatsits as well that will be $275 shipped.

Just don't want anyone to necessarily jump on that auction unless they know that I'll be posting some for considerably less, or fully refurbished with Xwhatsit for about the same price here in a few days

That price on eBay is rubbish. I remember there was one last that hung around on eBay for $60 but of course they are not as well known as the XT or AT and are harder to convert.

It would be nice to see some pictures of one of these converted.

I want to put one in my F107 and I know for sure that one from a 3178 will fit in the case (because someone else already done it). Of course, I could find out the clearance in the case and start from there, but I want to keep my restoration simple, even if it means spending more $.

The 3178's solenoid produces a different sound than most of the available aftermarket solenoids out there. Someone here made a video comparison of the sound but I can't remember where it is. Though in all honesty I don't think it's worth it to harvest these just for the solenoids given the price difference.

How odd, using pad printed caps instead of dye-subs....? The A, S and C are almost worn away, so it can't be dye-sub at all.

But this is the Focus line, where even they don't care about Blue Alps at all (as they should) .
