The modifiers appear to be doubleshots, at worst it might be a Tai-Hao spring-over-membrane. I don't think Tai-Hao made rubber domes, and the "APC" branding may indicate it has APC switches.

Yeah those have been listed for years and the price continues to rise. I got a Portuguese model for $40 back in 2015.

I got one of the French ones for $35 in December last year. Great board, mine has pine Alps SKCM Black which feel pretty nice.

This seems like a good deal on an FK-5001 with functioning calculator, has a stuck key but that's easy enough to fix.

Dear lord. A little yellow patina on a board makes it look dignified. This looks like a sunburnt old man.

I had one like that once, but the lock light sticker was the darkest and most yellowed component of all.

Hey, so what if it looks like me, quit being so dramatic because OLD keyboards are extremely reliable and secure.

The only other person that comes close to the colour of that Northgate, is Bob Hawke and he's still alive and kicking ;) .

He came down to $150 for everything when I messaged him personally. I declined it though because I just wanted the keyboard, hahaha. Shipping for everything is really expensive >_<

edit: I just realized that's the same offer he gave you...you simply added shipping to it... I'm a moron.

edit 2: Here are two f122's for 500 OBO

Haha yeah, I never miss high shipping prices on ebay, especially since offering free shipping and just including it in the price is a much quicker way of selling imo.

That has not been my experience. I usually try to do free shipping, but there have been several occasions that an item has not sold with free shipping, but when I broke the shipping out (leaving the final price the same) it sold quickly.

Unless and until everyone sells the same way, there will be confusion and inconsistency.

Since eBay charges you fees on shipping anyways* I don't see why everything isn't "free shipping" and then the shipping is just automatically added into the cost of the item.

* eBay charges fees on shipping now because people many, many years ago used to list items for $0.01 and then have $350 shipping.

In my experience the quickest way my items sell has always been to offer the "Fast and Free Shipping" option, which requires you be able to ship within a day or two of receiving payment. It stands out more among the listings, but of course your schedule also has to allow it.

I once had to sell one like that at work; I described it as "The rich tone of a well-smoked meerschaum pipe". Irishman's gift of being able to tell someone to go to Hell and have them look forward to the journey and all that...

I asked the seller for the part number and he reports a 46010A. For the chance to try FLS that haven't been through the ringer, I'm down. Figured, somebody else might want the other.

Just spotted this little Frenchie;

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/IBM-Model-M ... Sw8W1bgBVg

Realized now how superior the IBM dye-sub was back then, compared to junkie stuff being done these days.

Only Realforce carries the Flag for proper dye-sublimation with their keyboards....

Once an item is sold it can't be searched for anymore, unless you check "sold" listings.

I did in fact search for sold listings, still doesn't come up (even now). I did some research and apparently this isn't an uncommon issue. Anyway, I ended up using an external eBay search aggregator and found it that way. Looks like I'll have to set up my alerts there instead of eBay itself.

Thanks

Ah - yeah that's happened to me as well. What external site did you use? I'm interested!
