I just got this lovely keyboard this week :D . I couldn't find out much about it and the label on the bottom is unreadable.

After some further research I believe this to be a keyboard for the 830 Series terminal.

This keyboard is also very similar to Haata's TP 130 keyboard.

and similar to nourathar's TD019 keyboard

Very stylish, innit? Especially those blue relegendables; very nice touch!

I really like this keyboard, especially the rounded keycaps. But it's not ANSI...

Nice, always cool when things sold on ebay pop up here

Clearly an Iso enter, but some dummy put it on the wrong way (and in the wrong place too) :D

The guy at the background has no computer to use and how he sat makes him look a bit unenthusiastic and sad...

Yeah horrible posture. Poor sap probably has a dead end job, three kids and wife that's having an affair.

Yeah I just love the style of these boards and others of this time period. It's been on my list for a while and really couldn't ask for a better board in my collection.

Kids are fine, job and wife can be replaced.
But no keyboard!
Staying that way sounds worse than no life...

What does the connector look like on the end of your (presumably original) cable?

The one I just snagged from eBay (which also has a big red(!) push button in position A next to the key in position S) has a 16-conductor male that looks like it would fit into an IC socket. But only six wires, and two of them are shorted. Which is a bit confusing, since the Technical Specification says (sheet 44) that it has 6 data lines, 3 tag lines, a strobe and two non-coded function keys. Which, with power, would seem much more likely for a TTL parallel interface of that era.

Also immediately noticeable (and confirmed on that same page) is that the gray keys are 85g while the blue ones are 250g. So you're not gonna hit those by accident.

Oh I seen that one after it sold. The red push button is neat ;)

So, anyway, the red button is the same SEC - GND circuit as the switch. I guess you can type without the key if you have a friend push it down?

I also kinda feel like there should be some tamper seal between the black top and the white base. It takes all of ten seconds to pry open.

I'm giving up on the DIP connector; some kind of tape on it is falling apart and two of the solder joints came loose just cleaning up for the photo.
