Any ideas? Bought in on impulse, worried it is f&f, already opened refund even though it was only $15 (albeit with $30 shipping and $10 import).
Did you really get it, cause I've got it in my hands right now??

He said he opened a refund, haha. BTW I believe that's an SMK board with MX mounts, yeah?

is this a blue alps keyboard? i know that the black version of the canon hd40 is, but the grey... judging by the bloq num and mayus lights i don't think is even an alps board, right? seems more like cherry. Anyone knows?

It is not an alps board, based on lock light shape and position
You are right!! Thanks!!!

Looks like a keyboard made by Focus Electronics. I'm not sure about the model, but there's a start for you

What makes you say that? Certainly doesn't look like a Focus to me...keycaps are different, font is different, layout is different, case design is different, etc etc

I've been seeing some Focus boards recently with a similar pattern around the arrow keys and the design isn't too terribly different from some of their boards, however, now that you mention it, the lock lights are a bit off and the layout of the board is unorthodox for Focus. The board actually shares quite a few features with the LIGWL-101, however, it clearly isn't that board, nor is it made by the same company.

Zenith ZBK-3?

Considering the lack of any available information, I'm assuming it's just the rubberdome sequel to the ZKB-2?

can't be sure, I think I recently looked this one up and yeah, it was most likely RD. Also looking at the way the back side looks, that hollow back is usually a RD thing, right?

Here is a weird one. It's an AT-style board that once belonged to a Bondwell Pro 28 with what i think is an Estonian layout (or some weird hybrid one, can't think of any other language that uses å, ä, ö, and ü but no other umlauts). Label on the back says nothing beyond it being made in 1987.

seller claims it's Swedish, but then why the hell is there ü and é keys?

(edit, realized that Estonian doesn't use å. So now i have no idea what layout it's using)

Could be nice for keycap harvesting, especially if it is Alps mount.

I also think that it's probably a rubber dome, but that looks like a DIN-5 cable. Windows keys plus big ol' DIN might be interesting.

This one came up before:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10405&p=462705#p462705

Definitely for a luggable PC. Windows keys means it's from 1995 or later. Some of these keyboards had Alps or clones, others had MX blues or blacks. I can't tell which from the caps, but perhaps someone here can?

Yeah. And description to my keyboard says its clicky. And that strange cable gutter meaning that it could be meant to be portable. It probably has complicated Alps in it.
Definitely for a portable/luggable. Windows keys date it to 1995 or later, so probably not complicated Alps. Some versions of those luggable keyboards had Cherry MX blues or blacks.

Edit: here's an earlier version with a different layout and MX blues:

viewtopic.php?f=62&t=16741&p=374589&hil ... en#p374589

I have one just like this in black with Dolch caps, also with MX blues. And a white Alps keyboard in the exact same colors and layout. They made these luggables for many years, and there were a lot of variations. Most were poorly made, so not many have survived.
Chicony KB-5170. Blue Alps in the video.

Hey, if it's really $15, I'd take the chance.

I have one of the top ones in a different layout. I made a thread that has some info on it but I recommend you just map the matrix.
