The problem with those boards is that you can't desolder the switches - they are literally "glued" in place with whatever that rust-resistant spray they put on the top after the switches were already installed.

Any masochists here?
Any idea where all the cheap NOS PCjr boards went? Do people think they'll be the next Pingmaster? I'll be lucky if I can sell mine for $30... maybe some crazy people on mechmarket want them?

I was hoping that FLS board didn't get as much attention as it did, it's going to go for quite a lot it seems.

Yup. I was looking for a clicky FLS.
To console myself, I bought a couple of other fun keyboards, so, no big loss .

Dude, that's an original piece, it says Apple on it! It's very moderate considering the price of the new thing back then. I'd say grab it as long as it is still available!

You forgot to add "/s" ...
A guy on the Swedish auction site Tradera has sold quite a few Swedish-layout, Czech-made with serial numbers beginning in A ( => Alps-made rubber dome with slider, PBT keycaps) for around $10 in the past year.
Edit: https://www.tradera.com/item/302611/447 ... odel-m2980
He's also sold quite a few other vintage Apple keyboards, mice and whatnot, including several AEKII and M0118.

Yeah of course I was sarcastic. But on the other hand look at that price tag. Buy it before somebody else does, what are you waiting for???

May have been posted elsewhere, but this looks like a nice restoration job on a 3101 Beamspring with some nice extras included:

How's this for an interesting layout.

Great looking board imo. According to this GH article https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=56207.0 it's got linear space invaders which according to Chyros https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbJpZLt ... hyrosran22 are similar to MX black but not as smooth. From the sound of it, lubing would be pretty risky due to how fragile the switches are. If it weren't for that and the fact that I'd have to figure out how convert it, I might jump on it.

A Micro Switch 55SW parallel ASCII keyboard that seems like it really was adapted for use with a hobbyist system.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/265060072364
It comes with the 16-pin adapter board with what looks like an odd mix of 74-series, 54-series (milspec), and DTL.

I'm sorta tracking prices on these for interested folks. Sold for $505 CAN. That's $400.52 US or 330.45 Euro.Lekrafter wrote: ↑07 Feb 2021, 20:49Blue Alps Leading Edge bidding at 26$ right now https://www.ebay.ca/itm/313410607288
