I guess their proliferation on that board means you like 'em clipped?

Yeah, sometimes I bottom out especially on blues, and clipped stabs feel more "sharp", less mushy!

Very nice i$. Very creative. And you're giving your pictures names now too. Obviously you're galaxies ahead of the rest of us.

What do you mean? I gave all my headers names - classics such as "PCB by candlelight", "789" and "23EFV".
The whole Model M rivet problem surprises me. I've had 3 Model M keyboards and not a single broken rivet.

You are too kind, but until now, I have always stayed within our Solar System
I could only say that I am outside this Galaxy when I put my hands in a keyboard like the beamspring that I could only touch for a couple of seconds.

I've never had a rivet broken either. Not even gotten used ones that were broken. Probably coincidence. I never give any of my pictures names. That would take time.

These are collected from various bolt/screw mods ... but tell us if you like it.
You may influence Mu ... well, we all know that you will not

I quite like it, but perhaps have them a bit higher, it feels like the Y gets a bit lost against the background!

When editing: add as a new file, so I can pick anyway. And better not to Seebart. There's no earthly limit on making new posts.

It's a one-man democracy.

I'll probably let one in. Need to look at them on a real screen. Still out biking.

Did the one-man voting take place ?
I cannot see "the rivet way" in the list of headers

Define new? I hear most of yours are many years old, that you prefer the vintage machines?

Prefer: no. Have: yes.
My desktop was a freebie 2006 vintage Mac Pro. Apple abandoned it back with 10.7 which is a shitty old OS (2011?) that everyone's given up on with software support, especially web browsers. So I hacked 10.10 to run on it. That broke down a while ago for some reason I can't identify. Since then I dug out the 2003 vintage iMac for desktop duties, but it's a relic that struggles badly on the modern web. So things are all a bit inbetween until I save up for a new Mac. Hopefully by then Apple makes a new 5k iMac with USB C or a Thunderbolt Display with 4k or greater resolution. Because I'm far from rich and can't afford costly stop gaps.

I remember using the iMac "lamp" when it was new thinking it was the coolest computer ever back then. Maybe apart from the G4 cube. Wouldn't want to be in your position right now though, good looks only goes so far...

Damnit, even Dropbox stopped working now.

I'd roll my eyes and move on, if I had the cash. This will be a fine wait!

Oh stop bitching. I used a 1987 Amiga 500 as my main computer up to 2008! Do you have any idea how difficult it is to even create a PDF or MP3 on a 1987 computer?? No, of course you don't.
You wimp.
