Hmm not so bad actually. I like that color tone.

Wow seebart, I love this first one! It so perfectly fits the header, with the 'thority' part of the logo resting beautifully above the blue keys.

That's more like it! I'm considering using both the images here.

Seebart: care to finalise your other designs? I like the geometric ones.

My last five can stay that way I guess. Use them if you like, I do have a request, please retire two of my headers. The blue Key Tronic and the orange red white Micro Switch sphericals. Both are out of focus and it bothers me. I can try to reshoot them if you like. Glad you like it Stabilized. ;)

Not bad actually. I can't really judge from my phone though. Feel free to edit all you like.

Hehehe. Let me take a better pic. Those purple springs are so "cray" as the youngster say these days ;)

If you can please do! One wouldn't believe they used these springs back then.

No problem but I must admit, you captured a fine header just as it is.

Why did you get rid of this one? It was one of my favourites. Return it now. NOW!

I love that header. I'm glad I forced you to bring it back. :evilgeek:

Compliments eh? You must be up to something. General quarters!

No, I know you just got lucky. I always try to avoid complimenting a Scot. (damn Scots!)

I only mentioned it because the header just came up now.

Hint: headers are loaded very frequently indeed. The quarter megabyte originals (Seebart!) are much too big. And should be visually indistinguishable anyway.

The PCB one is a nice composition but too fuzzy for my liking. I think I'll upload the other 3.

Did you really need that 4.4 kb savings on mine? ;)

I used to try for small photo sizes, but recently I've been just going for image quality instead. (...what with all our modern technology, and such...)

Bandwidth is a game two people play.

I needed to cut the bloat from Seebart's. I just dropped yours on ImageOptim at the same time, so I'd gather them together and make my uploading easier.

Actually, like all the submissions I see over 100k in filesize, Seebart's needed saved with lower jpeg quality first (something I have to do manually in Acorn or Preview) as ImageOptim is lossless and leaves fat files like that largely untouched. Groan. Just you try to spot the visual differences.

I thought I could see more noise in the converted one, but I checked again magnified and I don't see any difference.

I downloaded ImageOptim and it looks pretty good, but I wonder why it tried to access the internet. Possibly it was just an update check.

Edit: Oh crap! It autosaves! Fuck, I hate autosave. It should at least have a "convert" button so that you can be sure you dragged the right files or selected the right folder. Good thing I didn't try it on something important.

Autosaving is good if your edits are saved to a temporary file and not the original.
;-)

BTW, the secretary looks great, but you should move her more to the left, so I can see her at reasonable browser window sizes.

Are you on 640x480 or something, you poor bastard? I'd really like these images bigger. I browse Deskthority at 4K and they'd be much nicer in higher resolution. Everyone will be seeing the blur on them someday.

Sorry, but this has nothing to do with screen-resolution!

Also:
My G80-2100 shot contains a red switch and you can see at least one Cherry MX black from below!

Yeah, I like it. Consider it added to the next batch.

As for the one Ramnes quoted above, the lighting looks a bit crappy to me. The board does deserve a spot, but with a better picture, preferably. Add it to your list, Seebart!

Let me work on the top one, the bottom one is much better than it's predecessor in rotation now. It only takes me about a month to get it right. ;)

Ah yeah, always mention when a submission is intended to *replace* something already in rotation. All too easy for me to mix them up when I'm not warned!
