Model F XT for a decent price, "tested". Could be a good deal (no, I'm not bidding on it)

Apparently, linking to your own auctions is frowned upon. Removing the post. Apologies.

Having only 2 posts since 2012 is impressive though.

Now its at $630
God, that was so three days ago. It's reached $1000 and it still two days and fourteen hours to go.

I have no idea how someone from this hobby can do such a thing, that's the most obnoxious greed I have ever seen.

If there's one thing I've learned from eBay, if the seller lists something as extremely rare, then it's worth whatever they are asking.

Really interesting industrial keyboard, black Allen Bradley one.

Looks like an ... alps maybe? The LEDs in the numlock/caps lock/scroll lock keycaps caught my eye though.

Those LEDs look so much like these :

so I wouldn't say Alps

I am betting it's rubber dome.

I've been googling manuals/specs and couldn't find for sure (I found for newer models) but I would say rubber dome as well. Besides they tend to be more rugged, which is one of the ethos of the company, from what I read so far.

Yet another HHKB, seen 3 of these come up in the last few days. This one I wont be buying!
Starting at a low price too.

Thanks a lot for the heads-up wobbled. I think I will go for this if the price doesn't get too crazy.
I'm still eyeing the previous one, as it has the case and the wristrest, but the keycaps look a bit more appealing to me.

^ Model M with dip switches!?

That appears to be an XT/AT switchable model M, if some of my other XT/AT keyboards are anything to go by. Too bad that some of the ink is gone as the dip switches probably also do other functions as well. Maybe not though.

Edit;
(note this is an educated guess)

no. this is a terminal model m. It will not work with XT or AT protocol at all. Those dipswitches probably had some function for the terminal that it was originally included with.

Taylor Swift is a hobbiest and would probably be glad to answer your question. My guess is that Soarer's firmware would handle it, but I would have also expected him to say so if it was true.
