I understand your point and can relate to it, but think of this: the guy who wants -say- the unbranded win keys doesn't care about Ergodox but is helping you reducing the price of the whole kit. The price difference from 25 and 50 pieces is huge and if we can really meet the 50 tier you may very likely end up handing less money OR anyway we all gathered together to have everyone spending a little less. Karma credit, pal

But mixing Spacebars to Ergodox kit is not really appropriate. Dont you think? There is absolutely no use of spacebar on Ergodox.
Also those who want to buy that particular size of spacebar will also not happy to pay the extra keys that they dont need.

I dont mind paying the extra couple of spacebar at all. But it just seem inappropriate for spacebar to mix with Ergodox (Primary)

in the end I will do what the community asks.

the kits are still a work in progress, I don't want to make 100 kits, it would be a pain to manage.

I agree on one point though... the spacebars should probably go in the mods kit

1. one question re "capslock replacement"....wouldnt it be necessary to include 1.5 and 1.25 Capslock same time. Assuming capslock replacement means switching Capslock with Ctrl?
2. for what exactly is this 4.5 spacebar?
3. Would it be possible to include a 4.0 spacebar, 1.0 Shift and 1.0 Backspace as well? (Hyper Layouts)
4. How about a green lime ISO return?

oh my, you are right. A lot of hassle for just 1 key

4.0 spacebar doesn't exist I'm afraid. minimum is 4.5

hold on G80-1800 is not 4.5 I've been wrongly informed. It's 4.4-something inches not 4.5 units. Sorry gotta change that

yeah I suggested them, but they are custom keys, they would make the whole more expensive, but definitely worth asking a quote, anyway I need permission to use both

They only have 6 and 8 units space bars,

so no 4 units will be there.

G80-1800: you need to ask if the 6 units fits (mount-wise).

I'm fine with the many space bars in the ErgoDox kit. But the 6 units would be interesting You should also ask if they can make it 6.25 units compatible. There would only be a barely noticable 1/8 units missing left and right.

Tsangan kit isn't required as it's already part of the mod kit 3 set as far as I can see (7unit space bar, 1.5 unit mods and random single unit keys).

- 1u 0
- 1u + (actually 2)

OK, they are already there. But the other keys!!!

They are necessary for Hyper/7bit-layouts. & is very useful on G80-2100 and firends, because there are 2 one unit keys instead of the vertical + key.

Yes, and we need 2 units keys to fit on top of 2 key caps!
