C600 = 6 units space (like 1800)

thanks I have to go a hunting for a space that size or the C400 size which I assume is the 4 units?

Just count the 1x1 keys over the spacebar. They are even aligned...

sorry about that it didnt even occur to me to do that... which board are those off of?

What is the Software called to map the layout? I would like to play around with it!

If i put it like this, will somebody be able to help me with a wireless somethingsomething on the hypermicro? I would owe you one. Thanks

I'm also planing on making a wireless and when/if i find a solution I will post it here.

What about caps for hypermicro? Will you do a GB for that together with the boards? Would help do much since there are a lot caps who is non standard

I'm interested - but it's dependent on costing...

Want the micro. Love the tiny size. As soon as someone steps up to make a nice case I'm in.

The 4, 6 and 7 units space bar stabilizer wires must be handmade. Litster did this for the Phantom keyboard.
The 6 units space bar is SPACENEW in the Round 4 key caps group buy.
ROUND3/SPACENEW/GREY | 3| 1|in stock | $12|6 units (114;38,57)
RETRO/SPACENEW | 5| 1|in stock | $12|6 units (114;38,57)
NOIR/SPACENEW | 8| 1|in stock | $12|6 units (114;38,57)
Same for the 4 units Tipro space bar:
SPH/SPACETIPRO | 19| 1|2 left | $3|4 units (SA-family only!)
SPH/SPACETIPRO/BLUE | 11| 1|in stock | $3|4 units (SA-family only!)

Here is the thread about the PCB creation software:
Pcbnew / Kicad.

Just for a PCB prototype, you can use soft as Illustrator/Inkscape (vectors) or even Photoshop/Gimp (pixels) to draw a picture you print on a transparent layer to expose the Epoxy board to UV.
PCBNews and Kicad are professional tools and their files are sent to PCB manufacturer, that's why 7bit and bpiphany use it (and because they're powerful tools when you learn how to master them)

Thanks guys!
Is there a sizer difference between the hyper micro and hyper mini? If so which one would be more like the Poker's size and which one would be bigger or smaller.
I am liking the HYPERMINI/7BIT, Seems like the compact use of spacing is very nice and more efficient than the poker.
If you have the Hyper mini, Does that mean you could have any layout within the Mini series? If not, which ones are interchangeable?

HyperMini will have Poker-size, HyperMicro is 4x12 units.
To have different layout you need specific mount plates. The PCBs will be the same.

Is it not recommended to go Plate-less?

When a PCB is made for several different layouts chances are that it's gonna have more holes than a piece of swiss cheese. I'd definitely use a plate for added stability but 7bit is gonna know better than me obviously.

depends on if the PCB will have holes for pcb-mount switches or not. as telepete said there are gonna be a lot of holes already so it might not be structurally sound to drill even more material out.
then again it is a novelty board.

The PCBs can't have extra holes for PCB mounting, because most of them would be in the middle of the center holes or would interfer with the traces.

This is how the HyperMini looks like without the traces and without the diodes:

You're going quite fast with the work.

Quite a lot of holes in that PCB
Guess that's due to all the staggering options and layouts for bottom row etc.?

Oh, the plan is one PCB to rule them all?

It is the same as with the Phantom.

Is there going to be a reverse stagger included?

Except the Phantom didn't support this many layouts and end up with a PCB that looks like Swiss cheese...just sayin.

If there is, I will increase my order.

There are:
1/2, 1/4, 1/2
1/2, 1/2, 1/2
1/4, 1/4, 1/4
and then the 1/4-symmetric staggering like on PrinsValium's special keyboard.

Will there be plates if so which ones will have the reverse stagger plates?
