The part number gives it away.

Back in 2010 there was a Christmas meme of a kid staring to a dog wraped in gift paper and saying "I hope it's a PS3". The part number situation and the "I swear is not an M15" made me remember that :D Sorry.

I'm deeply offended

j/k i photoshopped the part #, it's something else in reality. do you think IBM still used punch cards for their stocking when the M15 was released?   PSYCH

IBM M15 with numpad NOS?
Close but its actually the extremely rare aluminium cased Chester Creek LearningBoard A Full Featured Keyboard. No images exist of it online but what a steal to get it for $500.

Looks like no IBM keyboard I've ever seen. Are those discreet switches I spy, or do my eyes deceive me?

Did you get the 3277 with the funky numpad that was up for a while?

what do you mean by "funky numpad"?

It had a numpad similar to the 5251 with a 3u zero key instead of the usual 3x4 cluster on most 3277s. Looking at the original listing it seems this is what you have since the discoloration lines on the metal plate are the same.

I'd love more pics of the foam container that it came in if you don't mind. I don't think I've ever seen an unused drop in replacement unit with the original packaging. The switches are probably in great shape too since it never had a contamination shield on it and was never used. Is there a date code anywhere on it?

[Edit]
At first I thought it was IBM 3741 or 3742 Data Station replacement keyboard module. Punch-card era is a telling clue. On second thought it's more likely to be a 3277 like someone else mentioned.
