If you're asking for pics of my brown Alps keyboard, that'll happen soon. I have to tweak two things and it'll be ready for sale. If you're asking for a pic of a custom made laptop, just give me lotsa cash and I'll make one for you!TNT wrote: 16 Feb 2022, 18:17I need pictureshellothere wrote: 16 Feb 2022, 14:52 My laptop is a better looking version of this:
If I had a lot more cash than I do now, I could make a modern laptop with just about any key switch I'd like. The reason why about 90% of laptop manufacturers and I don't is because it'd be a fairly heavy device with poor-ish battery life.Spoiler:
I really could put a mini ATX or mini ITX motherboard in the 5140 and probably find an LCD that'd fit. It'd just be mapping out the matrix for the keyboard. From what I read, the biggest problem is finding a "laptop battery" to make the thing work when not connected to AC. However, I might just be able to take the guts of a laptop and move things around a bit, rather than having to use an mini ATX or mini ITX motherboard.
