So is 29 a BTC rubber dome?

Edit, damn this attachment thing. Will fix when on my PC.
BTC is correct. It isn't a dome though. (that just gave it away

)

You DO realize this game is a LOT easier if you own the keyboard?

I dunno, the first result in google for "btc keyboard geekhack" gives me the answer I'm looking for. Bing and Yahoo didn't give me what I wanted though.

You need "site:geekhack.org btc keyboard" or be better and not use google at all

Lol, well, for you ripster I'll provide a special hint. These switches tend to fall apart, and become useless.
And a hint for all, on my count of the ones that haven't had guess. ~9 of them I haven't posted on deskthority before (and don't think anyone else has posted them somewhere). The rest have been posted by me, or someone else.
Oh, and for those with IRC logs...well you're lucky. Probably only a few haven't been posted.

More fun to post guesses off the top of your head first.
BAH. I thought somebody finished guessing 17. LASER / expo of course! The older version with sharp corners, but that font is pretty recognizable!
11. Vintage Cherry crosspoint? TG3 maybe?

11 has that old Wyse thing going on but wrong font.

What a Wyse Guy this OP is teasing us!

Yes! Someone got it

Nope, not Wyse or Vintage Cherry crosspoint (or anything Cherry). I don't expect anyone to guess the keyboard, as the company is next to impossible to research...due to their annoying name.
As for the switch, I made a remark about the switch (somewhere on Deskthority) regarding the fact that 3 different companies produced the exact same switch, but branded it themselves.
And as a relative hint, 10 uses the same switch as 11.
That blue is a huge hint

OMG...
*HaaTa wants...*
Seriously though, no idea. Not close to anything I've seen. From the QWERTZ, and odd design (and cheap'ish components), I'd guess something from East Germany.
(Regardless of if it can be separated from it's owner, switch dismantling picks must be taken, and force curves described)

I assume what you are looking for on the #29 BTC is foam and foil capacitive.
I know I have seen several of the as yet un-named ones, but am having a hard time placing. Too many with similar cruciform mounts it's hard to distinguish.

Correct!
Yeah, there are a lot of cruciform mounts...
I'm surprised no one has gotten 8 yet though.
Same with 20. Both are switches which were known about long before I joined the keyboard hunt.

Hmm, now that you mention it.
20. NMB? I've never taken apart the switch before, so I'm not sure.

Yup! A clicky one, but you can't tell from this pic.

18. Cruciform Mitsumi?

Good guess (and there is a Cruciform Mitsumi somewhere in the list

).
This one is, well, difficult. But, at least, I didn't introduce this keyboard or switch.
Here's another hint for 18:

Also a BTC, and yes technically, it has a rubber'ish resistance mechanism. But you're missing an important detail about the switch actuation

.

You mean the Remote Control/PS3 Dualshock type contacts?

Minor detail.
I think I spotted another.

Sorry, been too busy implementing a 3D render from scratch...stupid clipping... (assignment for a class I'm taking).
Nah, last I checked, it's a foam'n'foil as well. Though the keyboard is at the bottom of my stack in my storage locker, so probably isn't seeing the light of day for a while

.
Oh, and for those that like looking at pics, I "re-enabled" Crawler Query on my website. All of the images should be there, if not, probably forgot to include the album in the database.
