I just want to show my interest in this group buy.
And voted for the white on black, green on white and blue on white oh .. and orange on black

Black on Grey
White on Black
Black on White
or Blue on White

call me conservative when it comes to coulours.

I'd like to bring back the idea of an optional Mac OSX kit with dedicated F-keys. I originally posted this idea on the Round 3 thread and some people seemed to like it. Otherwise I wouldn't mind to have some relegendables in the same color of the standard kit for the same purpose; I guess SP make relegendables, don't they?

This would be pretty much the Blue kit in reverse video.

This is a darker blue than in your picture. Maybe there will be add-ons to have the text on the modifiers and function keys etc. in a different color.

Yes, they do.

I guess you mean things like volume buttons and such. Some of these symbols can be done as text, others require SVG files and cost more. If you are able to create SVGs just start to make the suymbols. Somwhere in the Wiki is an article about SVGs for SP key caps.

I see, well maybe if we make it just for the needed keys not a full set think will be costly anyway?
Lets see how the current moogle kit font and profile blends with the cherry set.

I will collect all options mentioned here and in the polls and set up a new poll, to see which color/text concepts will get support by enough people.

- WASD and other keys of that kind will be available in different colors.
- you can have as many space bars as you want!
there will be space bars available for different keyboards (but not the NoPoo or the Leopold) in different colors.
- blanks will be available as well
- I think we can also add a Diamond as replacement for the Windows logo keys.
- well, now comes the tricky part ... Everything has its price. I expect prices to be about the same as in the Round 3 group buy.
A standard kit with a few extras will be between $40 and $60, depending on how many sets will be produced.

Payment is in advance. I think this time, we will collect the money here in Europe via Bank transfer, because PayPal is too expensive.

Filcos are actually pretty average. Not sure how they developed a reputation of being thin. I think it was because old time Geekhackers never learned the importance of scientific measurements.

However, measuring actuation force scientifically, requires more advanced tools ...

Not possible. Signature Plastics, the manufacturer of the key caps, had not yet invented clear text double shots.

The kits come in ISO and ANSI layout.

French layout is already on my list, along with many other European layouts.

Since that is a contemporary demand, my guess is they won't invent it in the future as well.
