Okay, I have got my hands on 2 F-122, a Hagstrom KE-XTUSB converter - but now the keyboard plug does'nt fit into the converter. How do I make them talk together?

As far as I know the F122 doesn't speak XT, so even an adpter between the two plugs wouldn't work.

Great :-)

Can anyone suggest a plug'n play solution regarding connecting F-122 keyboards to a modern pc? (I'm not a handyman...)

You could try either Soarer's converter or xwhatsit's Model F controller, but I don't think there is a Plug and Play solution.

Check this forum (DT) and Geekhack (GH) to see if Soarer's Converter or Xwhatsit's Controller would work better for you. The Hagstrom converter is specific to the XT and will not work with other keyboards.

I'm not sure I have a female 240-degree DIN connector on hand to mate with the F-122, but if I do, I'll sell you a Soarer's converter wired up and ready-to-go for the cost of parts plus shipping (about $15 plus shipping).

@quantalume - are we talking something like 50 usd plus 15 usd for an easy, durable solution, I can put between my F-122 and my computer?

Where are you located? If in the US, it would be about $20 altogether, including shipping.

Denmark, sorry - but I would happily give 65 usd alltogether for a plug'n play solution... (I think I gave 25 usd for shipping for the Hagstrom box)

Ok, let me take stock when I get home this evening, and I will give you an exact price. Soarer's converter is really the best solution for this.

That sounds great. I would love a dedicated converter for my F-122's :-)
