There is not much to change. Some hints how - and + should relate in size and how SP will place text on DCS -J-Return keys:

why "prior/next" and not "prev/next"? is that some retro-terminal-otaku-spacecadet-pos thing?
PS: thanks for the suggestions

Prior and Next are the official names for Page Up and Page Down in X11.

PS: should we be adding more DCS spacebars?

Maybe a 6 units for G80-1800. If they can't change the mounts on the DSA 6 units, it will not fit on these.

I'll be alone getting the 6u DSA I'm afraid

it's gonna cost $10 just for 1 key

Posted: 07 Feb 2013, 16:44

Just order someting like 12 or 25 and spread the costs accros all other keys. Then sell these later for those who want to use all-DSA keys on their upcomming Hyper keyboard and can't stand short space bars.

for all what we pay for keycaps, why don't we make our molds and print keys by ourselves

It is starting to look really good.
But shouldn't it be 2x 1u win keys in the winkeyless kit?

The photo is totally wrong! Everybody knows I've got a different hair style!
Also I will just come with a wireless 1x1 7BIT-layout keyboard equipped with an ALPS switch.
A bit of FUD and all is mine ...

To go in between the Ctrl and Alt keys on boards like the Phantom or the Cheat. It is pretty standard to include those keys with "winkeyless kits"

oh, you mean to fill the gap? well, I'd say you should get 2 blank keys in that case. I could add 2 or 3 blanks anyway in the kit, so the ISO would be a little cheaper

exactly, to fill the gap.
I would rather see two key with the commodore logo than two blanks though.

2 one unit Commodore keys into Kit 2?
Would be a great idea! They also can be used as Escape or so.

why is it clear keys in the Iso kit?
Thought there would be no clear keys in any kit?

I agree
So new layout is all the same except:
- no blanks in ISO
- Prior/Next in kit 12
- 6u DCS spacebar
Blanks should be ordered separately. I'd say no additional 1u units in kit 2 and 3, but I'll think a little more about it
edit: maybe also "ANY KEY" key might be funny...

Each of these should have 2 1-unit Commodore keys. I won't buy those 2 kits anyway, so I don't care but when you add the 1.5 units modifiers to these, they are quite useful. Also useful as function or Escape replacement.
The blanks in the ISO-kit: Maybe it would be better to label them
NON-7BIT
CHAR

If theres 1.5u Ctrl and Alt in a kit you NEED to include 1u win keys or in this case commodore keys.

oh just got pricing. they are pretty good except for kit 2 and 3 which are in the $50 range at 50 tier. All the rest goes from 9 to 25 (always at the 50 tier). Anyway you can have a TKL/colemak/dvorak/winkeyless/... with $75 which seems pretty reasonable. Tomorrow or in the weekend I'll start the group buy.
It would be possible to make a standard DSA spacebar but it would cost us around $800.

800/25 == $32
800/50 == $16
This is not out of reach!
Will it be 6.25 units, or 6 units?

Could even be doable, seems this set has a lot of interest.
