Just out of curiosity how many orders do you have on Round5?
And can't you check total amount of orders on Round5a just before you ship Round5 and after the deadline(s) for Round5a?
I think it's interesting to know how many ordered because of all the pictures of Round5 when they start floating on the web.

what is the status of my order? i made my order in February and paid for it immediately. I am just really confused on what is going on with this buy and followup buys etc.

Additionally, note that the address on your Paypal notifications/notes are not necessarily the addresses 7bit will ship your order to, he ships to the address on your invoice.

I ordered before reading about the high turn around time for Round 5. Is it reasonable to expect Round 5a to take a similar length of time?

I imagine it depends greatly on the order size, MOQ/tipping point per set, and SP's willingness to fill the order in a timely fashion.

But yes, it's probably wise to assume a similar time frame and then hope for the best.

Any update about the progress in production?

I've asked today and still wait for an answer.

All key caps will be delivered shortly before Christmas 2015.

I had a dream last night that 7bit uploaded a ton of pictures of the keycaps and they had just arrived at his house so I came here hoping it was a premonition. it wasnt

That's a pretty poor attitude they've got right there. People walking in the door go right to the front of the queue ahead of us even though we've been waiting for months. Great way to make your customers feel wanted.

Quite honest though. Now they have PMK, independent GB organisers aren't wanted any more than SP's showing them. Good to have to fill up idle capacity, but definitely lowest priority process.

I wonder how much more we'd have to pay to get a guaranteed delivery date on Round 5a? (I'll have enough caps it's not important for me. Just curious if even SP has thought about this.)

I will at least demand they ship all they have right now, so I can start sorting!

That would be uncharacteristic luck. I bet they've done a bit of everything. Which means the joys of incomplete kits await you. If they cave and ship to let you get on with it…

They must have made enough to allow the sorting to start and 7bit to make up some of the smaller less complex orders.

Will only be the really big orders with all the colours that will get held up Muirium...

If you paid and they accepted the order, they should complete it and not give priority to newer orders. The new orders should be delayed.

If I order Round 5a through PMK, would they be delivered ahead of Round 5?

Only if you pass the interest check, get enough votes, and it tips!

Oh and you'll need some snazzy artwork.

OK, some delays might be expected, but honestly... this is a really shitty way to treat a paying customer and a terrible way to run a production shop. PMK orders don't get priority on the tooling, or if they do (because you've got no business ethics), you certainly don't tell that to the customer!

I am really appalled by this. Please don't let them continue to abuse you. You'd be completely justified threatening to cancel the entire order at this point. I know you don't want to do that, but it's leverage.
