Really great packaging!
I am dreaming of the Selectric set, but did not want to spend that much money for it. Maybe sometimes, sometimes I'll pull the trigger and get the caps.

They are of very good quality. Some keys are a little scratch. Nothing that an eye can see. The camera with long exposure times could.
I dream with the Selectric set also ...

I bought a single cap and was equally impressed with the packaging.

Could not be done better.
The guy in customs could not believe that inside there were just keycaps. I had to open the packet infront of him.
Getting each keycap out of the cilinders took me at least 20min !

Colemak, I see. The packaging is something I'd associate with an expensive tea set, not a bunch of relatively tough plastic keys, but I guess they're damn serious about them arriving in pristine condition.

Why do you have to open the package up? Is that normal where you live? Do you have to get the packages from customs directly at there office?

I live in Germany,
Depending on the content customs may send you a letter stating that you need to go to their offices in the next 14 days to pay the fee. My guess is that they actually do it because they do not believe that the price, content or any other thing is correct. One has to take a copy of the invoice and show what is inside.
I guess that this time, they thought that one should be crazy to pay such an amount of money for some bloody keycaps for a keyboard that is not longer made. Well, the latest, as you know, is not fully true

The descriptions are so Japanese! "I made this keycap set in praise of the invincible dreamers. We are such stuff as dreams are made on."
Do these come with the stems or is it just the top layer of a two-part cap?
