I recently noticed that a couple of the caps on my Model M come loose when I tap them quickly.
When you compare the stems of the affected key with others theres a noticeable difference in width.
I guess my best option is heating up the stem with a hair dryer and bending it.
Have any of you experience with fixing this?

This may not last forever (and then again it might), but you could try painting the stem with nail polish to bulk it up. The keys should be PBT, right? If so, nail polish should scrape off with a relatively soft object (like a cut-up credit card) should you change your mind. Acetone-based mixtures like nail polish simply do not damage PBT or POM, just coat it. This is definitely not true for ABS though.

I'll be sure to try that. Now I just have to get some from my girlfriend without her noticing
