LED blinking

Yesterday a couple of Chicony 5192 with yellow mitsumi switches arrived.
One of them flickers its LEDs non stop and it doesn't interact with the pc.
The blinking stops for a short amount of time if I type anything and then resumes.
I am thinking broken controller, any ideas?

Perhaps. Also: XT/AT. Is there a switch on the keyboard?

There is a switch, but I tried both with the same effect. This is why I think it's a broken controller, normally if you put a kb in XT mode it just doesn't react.

The other one has non functioning F and 2 and some keyswitches are clicky and shouldn't be sooo at least one good keyboard it's going to come out of this

ACHTUNG! ALLES LOOKENSPEEPERS!
Alles touristen und non-technischen looken peepers!
Das computermachine ist nicht fuer gefingerpoken und mittengrabben.
Ist easy schnappen der springenwerk, blowenfusen und poppencorken
mit spitzensparken. Ist nicht fuer gewerken bei das dumpkopfen.
Das rubbernecken sichtseeren keepen das cotten-pickenen hans in das
pockets muss; relaxen und watchen das blinkenlichten.
