Programming a Tipro MID board using RS-232

I am interested in programming the Tipro MID board using RS-232 on my 64bit machine.

I understand tarkoon might have been successful doing so judging by this thread:

>Ok, the converter arrived and programming is no problem any more with Win7 64bit! =)
>I use the USB to RS232 converter and a USB to PS/2 converter.
>Plug&Play works perfect!!! =)

He talks about a USB to RS-232 adapter, so far I understand, but I do not understand where the USB to PS/2 converter is used.

Perhaps this was a mistake, perhaps he meant RS-232 to PS/2 adapter?

Computer -> USB -> RS-232 -> PS/2 -> Tipro

Would that be correct? If maybe the adapter looks something like the following?

I have a USB -> RS-232 cable and a couple jumper cable, best would be to find the pinout and wire it manually for programming.

Anyone has any input on how to do this?
