MagicForce 68?

Hey, I know that all of you keyboard nerds are awesome, and that this keyboard might be below your station to research, but I was thinking about buying a MagicForce 68, and was gonna tweak it to what I look for most in a keyboard. Is there any way that someone can give me a list of the materials used and warp of the keyboard frame? Also, drop your thoughts, if you've got one below, even if you don't have the keyboard. I'm interested in all opinions!

What do you want to tweak ?
It's my first keyboard, but I stopped using it as I can't stand the loudness of blue switches.
I regret purchasing this very much.

All right, that's pretty fair. I've always hated Blues myself. I was gonna drop a set of Ergo Clears into it. Would that fix anything?

And if need be, I'd also buy some o rings, fairly soft ones. Probably crack the case open and pad the PCB, and I was also looking to replace those (frankly more than godawful) keycaps.

So you have used blues before? I thought it's going to be your first board.
Sorry not sure about ergo clears, as I only focus on alps. The damped ones are perfect in being absolutely silent.

I've used semi-transparent o-rings with my SA keycaps, but I couldn't hear and feel any difference...still crazy annoying. I've also tried to put towels underneath, but the problem is the switches themselves.

Well, it'll be my first custom keyboard, I've just got a cheap tester kit, that had Blues on it. I've listened to HQ recordings of typing on Blues, and they're ridiculous. I'm a very tactile guy, and I hate noise in general, unless it's absolutely necessary.

I'll see what I can do about finding a set of Alps, and I'll try them side-by-side.

Have you looked into matias quite click switches/white damped/cream damped ? It's more tactile than cherry, it's really silent and the sound is actually quite pleasing. There's a 60% PCB groupbuy running at the moment.

Oooh, enthralling. I've done a little bit of looking, and I think that they do fit my build much better. Thanks for the recommendation! I've got another query, though. Are there any stealth keycaps available for those switches?

I don't think there are stealth ones, maybe DSA blanks as an alternative?

Hmm..... It's a possibility. I've got a set of paints. It's a temporary, terrible fix, but this keyboard's got a lot of funky keybindings that I might possibly need.

It comes with different switches. I have it in brown, and it's perfectly fine. I like the layout because no dedicated F-row. I've found that I don't need it. This is as large as I get, %-wise.

I was going to install a custom set of keyswitches, find some new keycaps, and replace the LED color. Probably repaint the chassis as well, I'm not a big fan of the black and silver, I was going to put in green LEDs and paint some green accents.
