I just got an email saying that some used wafer fabrication equipment is available for sale in the US. It is in good condition. If you are interested, let me know. I know there are a lot of projects being contemplated that require PC boards to be made, but I have no idea if this is suitable, the cost or complexity, etc.

Wafer fabrication is used to make ic dies that are used in chips. I'm pretty sure that's way beyond anything folks are playing with here.

PCB prototyping equipment would be very cool though!

Does it come with a clean room ?

It would be cool kit to have a play with for sure but its not something a home or even small lab could deal with , unfortunately
