Beamspring 5251 (bigfoot)

To my surprise, I got something from the beamspring cake too, and here's what I got.
It's like a 5251 but has that bigfoot style like with the Model F XT. Therefore it's a bit smaller in width then the non-bigfoots.

I never saw that one before here on deskthority, so I thought it may be worth posting it. But maybe I'm wrong and I just couldn't find anything about it. :)

WOW! What a find ?!? :o  More pictures please. What do the badges & labels say?

Indeed, a very great find! The bigfoot-style bezel makes this a rather aesthetically-pleasing beam spring keyboard, in my opinion. :o

Added some more pictures, any wish what you want to see?

The front part makes it surprisingly easy to type on it, kind of like a wrist wrest. :)

I'd like to see the IBM stickers & badges / serial numbers etc. since this is a (to us) unknown new model.

Oh alright. Well the only real numbers I found were on the cable, but that's look good to me.
Any idea where to find other stuff? But if I recall correctly then they weren't any other badges or stickers.

Wow, nice! Is this flatter than seebart's 5251? Could you take a picture from the side?

That day when someone will come and post pics of an ANSI beam spring.

I've said it before I'll say it again, this is the year of Beamsprings at DT since I joined. With all the 5251's we've had like what...20-30 in total recently ?!? Insanity.

Yeah a pic from the side would be great so we can see the height of the case.

Too fun... I think we shall dub thee... "Beamfoot"

These hybrid boards are the most interesting to me. You can see the thought process of experimentation in the works. Such a beautiful find, with what looks to be a flawless template no less

This is a very cool case for a beam spring because you can rest your hands on it and type. Most beam spring keyboards are too high off the desk surface because of the beam spring mechanisms. Very cool.
