Hi all,

I just bought my first mechanical keyboard ever. It's the CM Storm QuickFire XT with Cherry MX Brown switches and I absolutely love the feel and sound of the keyboard.

After a few hours of usage I noticed something weird when typing a "+". Everytime I type the plus sign using the left shift key I get "+}". When using the right shift "+K" appears on my screen. When testing other shift combinations I also discovered a problem with the "^". Using the left shift I get "^Y", and using the right shift I get "^J".

This behavior is the same on multiple computers, everything else works flawlessly.

Is this usual with this keyboard (I assume not so), or is mine defective?

If your keyboard is under warranty, RMA it. If not, you'll have to replace switches
