Nothing new, but I thought today about building a 60% case out of concrete and found out that somebody already did it: http://www.popularmechanics.com/technol ... diy-build/

Now that's a concrete example!

;)
But I think the case could be done more thinner and subtle as in the example.

Now someone else obviously agrees with my belief that tapping your fingers onto a completely solid immovable object provides a superior typing experience. And, in my opinion, makes the perceived feel lighter.

TX75.... I am amazed how easy people forget... I bet if in a year Ivan comes back there will be some people who will join his GB. People still order stuff from SPRiT .... jeez...

Funky alternate layouts always look like a cool idea until the day comes when you want to put a sculptured SA keyset on them, and then it's all sad trombones.

Last thing I heard was all TX1800 participants either got a refund or a keyboard. Kin25 was offering refunds/keyboards to anyone who is still waiting, PM him if you have claims. Since then, he fulfilled the amazing TX-CP GB. I think he learned a lesson from TX1800, he is selling keyboards from his warehouse now! Almost all TX75 orders will be shipped within 1-2 weeks! It's not a GB, it's a sale.

Or any sculpted keyset, for that matter.

Skimming through this thread, that Delete key was the first thing to catch my eye. Sticks out like a sore thumb..

@emdude: yeah that 75% column is almost impossible to fill properly with any existing keycap set. Guess these keys will soon be standard in every GMK base kit

I have no claims, I've sold my spot. I still don't trust him, I've been arsed in this hobby too many times, and by "trusted" members (not on DT ). I'm sure I'm 99.99% wrong but still...

What's the use of "scroll lock" and "pause", I'd rather have home and end keys. Hope they can add Num keys the way IBM SSK does,so it can have number keys and remain 75%.

You can program this keyboard to any key-function you like. If you like, all the keys can be "A" keys :)

The keycaps you see on the picture are just an example from someone who did his best to put some standard layout keycaps on that keyboard.

An SSK like numpad on a "FN layer" is no problem at all!
