Mounting Plate Queries

Hello!
What is the proper thickness of a plate designed for MX switches and stabilizers?
In addition, what are the dimensions of each of the switch and stabilizer mounting holes?
Thanks.

AFAIK 1.5mm thickness and 14x14mm² for a switch cutout is the spec, although for 3D-printed frames I use 13.85mm for a tighter fit.
Don't know anything about stabilizers as I don't use any

LOL, I used 14.1 mm for my last 3d printed case so that each switch fits easily ... and I just glue them in.
The main difference may be that you use SLS and I use simple FDM/FFF.

True, but as enlarging the squares with a sharp knife by scraping the edges is a very fast method of getting a good fit despite any building process tolerances I'd rather design them a little smaller than needed in the end - an old habit from my woodworking days I guess...
And even with the more accurate SLS the resulting smoothness is often beneficial, especially when your not aligning the cutouts in a plane like I did with my recent bowl-shaped model.

It's fine. It just made me cheerful that we took completely different approaches to a 3d printed plate switch hole size.
I must admit that your approach is more perfectionist
