[VA87MR] LEDs switch back on after resuming from suspend under Linux

Hi,
I'm a newbie and I'm using a VA87MR from Varmilo (USB/illuminated). I use it under Linux (Fedora 25) and I found it surprising that all the time I resume my computer (keyboard it's attached to a laptop) the LEDs come back on if they were set off before closing the computer lid.
Here's a

Please what in your experience is this problem related to?
I'm not sure if it's the OS to be blamed or the firmware, and I even ignore if the latter is upgradable somehow.
Any suggestion would be appreciated :)

1. Can you give us the output of an lsusb -v with the keyboard plugged in.

I updated the

I did it but the keyboard still behaves the same. The mouse is actually a wireless one (Logitech M525) so I unplugged its dongle. Thanks

Do the LEDs switch back on if you unplug and replug the keyboard while the computer is running? If so, then the keyboard does not store the setting in non-volatile memory.
Because your host is a laptop I think that its USB ports may be configured to power down in sleep mode - where as most desktop machines tend to provide devices with a low current in sleep mode. Some laptops have a special "charging port" (often in red) for charging phones etc. that is powered when the others are not.
If this is the cause of the issue then you might work around it by using the red USB port (if any) or maybe the ports could be reconfigured in the BIOS... but YMMV.

Regardless of its LEDs state when the keyboard gets replugged the LEDs stay off.

I found out the port still providing charge power when the computer goes in suspend mode, I plugged my keyboard there but the problem still shows. For the sake of it I tried all ports.

Well, if you have a powered USB hub you can check that with certainty. Your laptop may drop the power then bring it back. A Powered hub would be a solid test.
