holding modifier keys behaving erratically

hardware: vortex pok3r rgb, few days old.
as demonstrated in the video, I've been having problems with resizing or dragging while holding modifier keys (alt, shift) and even alt+backspace/del also not really behaving like it should when using apple wireless keyboard (i'm on mac btw).
any idea what to do? other than going back to membrane dome.
EDIT: UPDATE:
so i launched karabiner-elements event viewer and i can see the alt button send repeated signals. my right cmd also behaves this way. any idea how to unset it from repeat mode?
