Hi guys...
so i recent purchased an ibm model f xt... unfortunately, it doesn't work.. im using soarers converter (which works on my other xt's) however when using this particular board, it would just spit out random keys continuously.. any ideas on how to troubleshoot? capsense board gone or perhaps the controller circuitry? Also, appears the controller circuits are on the same board as the capsense so replacing doesn't look right (if thats the problem).. any help appreciated...

The pcb is probably dirty, so you may be getting false keypreesses if liquid was spilled on it at some point. Best bet is to disassemble and clean.
