Yep! It unfortunately doesn't work with a regular din-5 adapter. Is there anyway I can rectify that without teensy'ing or is that my only choice?

You can actually run the converter on a Pro Micro if you don't have a teensy around. There's a workshop thread on how to get it to work with the pinout.

For me, XT is the best layout ever. It is a very nice keyboard. How is it to type on it?

Thank you! Despite the fact that it was in a shed, the switches are very smooth. It is very enjoyable to (pretend) type on it, and I really hope to get it working with a modern system. It's a charming board!

No white, cream spacebar and green everything else.

I really like the style of the case...but I am a fan of bezel, which seems to be unpopular currently.

Cream/ivory linear is a heavier switch used for space bar. The alternate action switch was also cream.
When the ~2nd generation came around and all the colours changed, these two types changed to grey.
It seems that Korean-made keyboards (Gold Star Alps) made the alternate action switch the same colour as the normal switches, instead of the same colour as the heavier switch.
