I picked this up today from a guy who replied to one of my ads on Craigslist. I am more of a keyboard guy but did not want to pass this up. The unit powers on and comes with the upgraded 640k of memory! Now I just need to clean it up a bit and get a floppy so I can try booting this thing. I believe this keyboard has brown and green Alps SKCL Compact switches.

You are correct, JP! SKCM brown and compact greens for the thinner keys. Usually these boards are quite clean as well since typically they are stored with the screen covering the keyboard, thus preventing too much dust from getting in the switches/on the mounting plate!

Another great find, dude. Congrats. Let us know if it boots up!

Amazon still sells floppies, and you can use FreeDOS for a working OS.

I have a stack of floppies and a usb floppy drive at work. I might give FreeDOS a try if I can't find a floppy with DOS on it.

It should work on this computer since you have 640K of memory:

It's been a while but I decided to get this working. Just needed some elbow grease and a little know how.

I was a local coffee shop today, a shop much larger than a Starbucks and I counted no less than half a dozen MacBooks. Not a single PC so that was how I got the inspiration for applying the Apple sticker, plus I had a few of these stickers from when I got an iPhone.
