So thanks to this wonderful community and to mrr19121970, I was able to land a beautiful 3277 with a unique split spacebar layout. The following is a photo documentation of the disassembly process. I was pleasantly surprised at the great condition and am happy that this is my first proper beamspring. Here you go:

Amazing condition. Beautiful board.

For $300 that was a great deal.

Would have gladly paid $1,000+

thanks all for the kind words! and Slom, wonderful banner! Happy to have it being used here. Also, should I cross post in the photos section for more visibility?

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this ... I've been searching for an answer for a while now and have come up empty ...

How exactly do you disassemble a beamspring switch? It seems like the metal post should pull right out with a pair of pliers after removing the flipper, but if I pull any harder, I think I risk breaking something.

I was able to pull them out with Vise-grips. I had been using jeweler's needlenose pliers, which do not have teeth and were slipping off when I pulled.
