Impressive, that's quite a piece of hardware. Without using goooogle who is Konstantin Schauwecker? I'd love to do this with my Olivetti Lettera 36.

That's not what I meant! Tell us about this please hypkx! Did you build this? How does it work? Is this limited to certain typewriters? Can I buy this?

I think you misunderstand me, the reddit user https://www.reddit.com/user/Cone83 build it (he is Konstantin Schauwecker) and I asked him if he could share how it works.

Thanks for clearing that up. ;) I might send Konstantin Schauwecker my questions. Either way that's quite an "adapter" to understate it. Thanks for sharing BTW.

Awesome! If it also manages to store the typed data on a USB stick (probably too much for an Arduino), I know just the person to build this for! :D
