HyperX Cloud FPS (Cherry MX Blue) Ping sounds...

Hello as you can read from the subject I'm an owner of the HyperX Cloud Alloy with Cherry MX Blue switches.
I really like the keyboard, is minimalistic, have a detachable cable and most important thing have cherry mx switches.
I have this keyboard for two weaks already and something that I noticed only recently is an annoying "ping" sound coming from the spacebar....
I read few posts on the internet about it but many people had this problem on the enire keyboard or on few different keys, I have it only on the spacebar and I don't know if the problem is the switch itself, the stabilizer or some other things that I don't even know...
If someone else have the same keyboard with the same switches can tell me if they have the same problem as mine?
Thanks in advance.

I can hear it, but hard to tell 100% from the sound test.

I think it may be the bar/stabilisers. It doesn't sound like switch ping. Everything makes a noise and the noises are all worse on bigger keys, especially if they are hollower/thinner caps. The board itself is more open, so the noise is going to be more, especially since that is a plate mount. Blues have a distinct sound and I can hear the click (amplified by the hollowness of the keycap) but I hear something else too.

Things to try:
1) Remove the stabs (no... not as a perm fix) and check the noise. It may be louder, but shouldn't be weird. If so, lube the stabs or find a replacement if they aren't that nice to begin with.
2) Put an o-ring dampener on the keyswitch (and hell, the stab mounts too). It should help remove some rattle. Dampened space bars are still clicky and louder, but may feel more stable and have a less noisy landing, especially with such an open board.

Let us know.

Without the stabilizer the key produce a much MUCH quieter "ping" sound...
Soo I suppose this is a stabilizer problem right?
The keyboard use Costar Style stabilizers so they are pretty easy to lube etc.

Edit: The key without the stabilizer don't produce any kind of "ping" sounds.

Yeah, I am guessing it is something in the stabilizer causing the noise. I have hear squeaks and clicks more than what I hear here, but it could be a squeak that is causing the bar to vibrate. I think the lower stab pieces need a drop of lube. Simple thing. Also check to make sure the stab bar isn't bent slightly, since it rocks above the plate, make sure it never makes contact. If it does, it is bent or the plate-side stabilizer brackets are mismounted.

Hope that helps, but it looks like you are on your way.

I lubed up the stabilizer but the ping still persist on the spacebar...
I also noticed that the "ping" sound is present only while the key bottom out.

Ok I have finally figured out what's going on :D
Pratically the keycap (pretty thin double shot abs keycap) hit the pretty thin costar style stabilizer, this stabilizer "bottom out" and work like a "spring" vibrating and touching the metal backplate.
The best solution will be an o-ring on the spacerbar so the key itself don't touch the stabilizer.
Thx a lot for help pixelheresy :)
P.S. I come for my problem with the keyboard but I think I will remain for more contenent counting that I really like mechanical keyboards.

Excellent! No problem at all! Always happy to help.

Absolutely, you should stay or at least lurk. A pretty cool community here and even just following discussion on various switches or cool finds or (my favorite) awesome hardware hacks people are working on is worth the semi-regular visit.
