Old and dirty (like me): my current daily driver, a 1994 Lexmark Model M (will be very soon rotated over with a battleship, though).
Clean and beautiful (like my niece): a Varmilo Sakura I bought for her 19th birthday.
I went quite over budget for her new keeb, but I don't care. I hope she'll appreciate it as much as I expect her to.

Always nice to see an SSK but what the fuck man give that thing a clean, are you some sort of mad man?
I will refrain from ranting about the word 'keeb' so as long as you give that board a bath.

No, I'm just old and dirty.
That said, you're right. The keyboard is generally not too dirty, but the keycaps are
filthy. We have a long weekend here, thanks to a holiday, so I'll have those properly washed right away.

... by living in a dustly part of the city, having this particular unit for eight years straight as the daily driver AND never taking the time to actually cleaning it. Damn, every few months I clean the computer up but never had bothered with the keyboard. It's embarrassing, really.
That said, last night I started the cleaning procedure and will be done in a while. And a new picture will replace the original one!

If she worked in the mines, I'd have gotten her an industrial gray Model M keyboard!
(actually, I do have one stashed around here...)
