Very nice, don't worry your pictures are fine. That old German federal post office sign reminds me of my childhood, thanks for sharing.

Wow. That is a LOT of new M8 switches!
Also, according to the M8 brochure, M8 series has:
"Different ways of operation: Linear, Tactile feedback, German Postal tactile feedback."
I am guessing that, being a German postal service keyboard, that these are all tactile switches?

A shame about the damage, here in Germany I might even find a replacement receiver like that. Good pictures.

Could you "recompose" the receiver as well as possible and take pics under different angles?
We could then be able to find a replacement.
Wrong colour, but shape could fit:

How an old Deutsche Post keyboard ended up in China, damaged - it can usually be through the usual electronic waste and recycling route. Or were there some more interesting stories behind it?
I really want to ask this keyboard about its history.

I think UncleFan bought it from a DT member.

Ouch... Deutsche Post keyboard damaged (perhaps) by Deutsche Post.
There can be a post (or there was already?) about how a keyboard should be packed in order to minimize damage during shipment.

There's at least a thread with a pathetic example of how
not to:

Yeah, I've experienced some insanely bad packaging also, even here internally at DT which I won't go into detail.
