Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
This is the problem with most ordinary recycling centers (looking at you Thomas), they have a policy of destroying everything even if collectors value exceeds scrap value... Its kind of their job but come on

They are also sucky for not selling valuable stuff like computers and things and just destdoying them instead.

They do that because they are worried about the cops coming and finding some stolen goods there. People give all this BS about "it's for safety" or "the need fast turnover", no they know that sometimes stolen shit comes in and they need to get it out.

Recycling Centers are BUSINESS which means their place is inundated with stock every few days, hence where to put it all?
That is why anything not sold is destroyed and reduced down to scrap. The last time I worked at a scrap seller in my teens said that to me, that if nothing is sold within a week it really gets scrapped for incoming stock. SPACE is a vital commodity within these places.
