I asked unicomp if they can do printed one piece keycap and the answer is
You may order individual keycaps here:
http://www.pckeyboard.com/page/product/PRK
Simply specify what you want printed on the key (In this case: { [ )
If you want a one-piece key (not the separate cap and stem), then after placing your order, you may open a
ticket and specify your order number, and that you want the printing on a one piece key button.
I wonder if they can print SSK set, I asked unicomp because I thought I lost a keycap during cleaning but I found it later so I didn't ask them if they can do num key on alphas and insuristal ssk style front print.

My experience is that they are fairly accommodating about special orders, but at $.50-$1 surcharge per cap (and multiples can apply, eg custom print + non-standard color) it can get very pricey very fast.

Luckily? Industrial ssk seems to have only 12 custom keycaps and 16 for normal ssk. Because font is different so all keycaps needs to be replaced with unicomp ones, at least m101 keycaps can be used fo rest of the keys. Because nobody seems to have IBM's helvetica font used on model M so dyesub at home won't work well with original keycaps either

Ghetto industrial ssk from chopped full size m anyone? Heard pvc is pretty difficult to paint or dye.

Unicomp sells a full Model M set for $30 so you should buy that and add to it rather than piecemeal the rest from zero.
Caps are $1 each (base price) if bought separately.

Exactly, $30 for a set of sub dye pbt and a dollar for custom keycap is really good price. But if they can align legend properly with correct font that's means my cat will speak klingon

, because the service is very good so you can let them make several keycaps until a good set is made if you can afford the postage.
(I guess the fonts might been licensing issue, I heard ibm spend millions each year on fonts)
Last time I brought their latin american brand new 1996 model m and converted it to uk layout using two and half sets of keycaps and I couldn't make a perfect set for it

.

A dollar for the base key in standard color plus a dollar to print it (probably per print if multi-legend, I don't know).
When I had some custom keys made for the XTant project it was about $30 as I recall for maybe 10 keys, in standard colors.
